For the second time, KINSFOLK spent a week at Artscape Gibraltar Point working on their project "The Amy Show", a short-lived sketch comedy program that never existed. The question we are examining through this project is whether it is possible to create something from nothing. We intend to fabricate a fictional production history by manufacturing and embellishing various real world entities, including a Wikipedia page with an in depth chronology of the show, biographies, episode listings, reviews, trailers, highlight reels, a theme song, digital prints of stills, an Amy Show logo, merchandise, and various props and “restored” sets.
